baby shower gift.

this weekend i also tackled another DIY project. my awesome wedding photographers Jamie and Richie Staggs had made one of their clients a really awesome guest book, and i loved the idea. since my wedding has already come and gone :( i thought of another way i could use this cool product!
this past year i attended a baby shower for two of my professors, and at the shower we had a "wish" jar where we each write down wishes/hopes/dreams we had for the babies. as luck would have it, i have another baby shower to attend, so i thought this book would be a great way for all the guests at the party to write down their wish, and it would be a great keepsake for mom, dad, and baby!
the book and framed directions for the guests

the holders for the little slips of paper for people to write their wishes on

the slips of papers stuck into the holders

and all the extra slips for lots and lots of wishes!

this was a super easy project. all you need was a lot of cardstock, a scrapbook, a 2 inch circle punch, some double sided tape, a good paper cutter (to get straight lines) and some patience! it was a bit time consuming, but overall i think it turned out great!
